Our Story
At the age of thirteen, Serena Dyksen was raped, became pregnant, and then taken to an abortion clinic. Abortion was supposed to be the answer after Serena’s trauma, but instead it tore her family apart and nearly destroyed her life.
Terrible things happened behind the doors of the abortion clinic. It was a secret Serena buried for years, and it affected her marriage, her parenting, and her view of God. At the lowest point of her life—as her marriage was crumbling and she numbed her pain with drugs and alcohol—Serena had an encounter that changed everything.
She Found His Grace is a story of healing for anyone who has experienced abortion. It is also a call to action for the church. There is hope, love, and forgiveness after abortion.
